Shout out to Devil's Claw Distro as always for helping with printing and distribution!! There is always great music out there if you actually care to check it out so hopefully this will get you interested in just a bit of the good shit that’s been going on lately.

LIVE REVIEWS!!!

Habitual Line Steppers:
Loud, fast, obnoxious and full of heart!! HLS is a really fun hardcore punk band that really brings it!! Solid songs with a solid attitude, definitely a unique punk experience. A performance from them comes highly recommended. Check them out!!

HELLFARM:
Speaking of heart, this duo’s really got it!! Bass, noise, drum machine and vocals, HELLFARM is not only unique but extremely genuine. They don’t sugar coat themselves one bit, going from chaotic and high energy to soft and emotional they demonstrate how powerful it can be musically for artists to change perspective sometimes.

Donax:
Fuuuuck!!! It’s like doomy hardcore!! Donax has this dark edge to them that’s complimented by their raw energy. They’re able to slow it down without halting the vibe, they keep it going with shifting tempos in a way that makes you want to fucking slam hard!! If you miss these guys then you’re seriously fucking up.

PUNK PRINCESS LISA GOMEZ INTERVIEW!!!

STN: What got you started on Whatever68 Radio?

Lisa: 2010-2011 I wrote for and would help out with promoting shows at different internet
radio stations. in 2012 I wanted to have my own live show and to play all unsigned acts no matter what the genre and all I could get was podcasts and stations picking through bands leaving a lot of unknown good music behind. then I was co -owner at Punk 77 through Today Radio and that didn't work well, a friend at the time said you should just build your own station, at the time I was on leave from my stressful corporate job so I started to research how to build and I just did it.. along with my assistant at that time, musician Joe Mumbles who helped me put the beginning team together. Although they all have moved on I thank them for the lessons they taught me, also hoping Mumbles will make a guest Dj appearance one day we have stayed good friends.

STN: Hell yeah!! Mad DIY!! What is it that draws you to the music in the first place?

Lisa: I have always loved music it's been around me my whole life I love everything from PUNK to a little country.

STN: How long have you been involved in the DIY and local music scene?

Lisa: well I have been going to shows and supporting local acts since I was a teen known in the scene helping in more depth for about 8 years.

STN: What was it that really pushed you to want get involved? Booking bands, putting on your radio show, making your compilation albums etc..

Lisa: I love music being on air and writing for Punk Globe gives unsigned bands worldwide a chance to be heard. Same with making compilations and its fun!! I don't book so much anymore, I do the Whatever68 Festivals and when a touring band needs a show I only book at The Bancroft; I like the atmosphere there and the sound is GREAT they are for the local music scene. The owner Rob is a local musician who gets it and he is always good to everyone who goes in that bar mad respect for Rob. I have never been one to go small or give up easy so the more acts I play and interview the more it inspires me to keep going and help more acts, it’s the musicians who push me they are the reason I do this they are my inspiration.

STN: What are your future plans for Whatever68?

Lisa: To keep rocking unsigned music worldwide and do lots of live interviews and broadcasts.

STN: And finally, is there anything you'd like to add? Any advice? Anything you wanted to talk about that we didn't cover? Any opinions? Any plugs? Anything at all.

Lisa: I would like to thank you for the interview all the bands and friends of Whatever68 Radio & PP Promo Records for the continued support & love I would also like to thank The Whatever68 team for all their hard work and support check out all our free compilations https://whatever68radio.bandcamp.com/ https://pppromorecords.bandcamp.com/ also check out al the live shows at http://www.whatever68radio.com/we68-live-chat-room.html
